About Windy

Windy was one of our first heifers and the start of Dr. Loar’s journey to veterinary school. Shortly after our county fair, Windy became ill with Shipping Fever and died after a week. She was 4 months pregnant at the time. While caring for Windy, Dr. Loar realized how much she loved large animal medicine and decided to return to school to become a veterinarian. This practice and our farm really do represent a legacy and our goal is always to maintain the highest possible standard of care both for our animals and those placed in our care.
